Information We Access

PS Cleanser is a phone storage-cleanup application. With your permission, it accesses photos, videos, and related media-library information on your device, such as file type, size, dimensions, and dates.

This access lets PS Cleanser identify duplicate and similar photos, screenshots, large photos and videos, old media, and other storage-cleanup opportunities. PS Cleanser does not need an account to scan your device.

How We Use Information

We use device media and its metadata only to show you storage findings, calculate potential space savings, and support the cleanup features you choose to use.

PS Cleanser does not sell your photos, videos, or personal media. We do not use your media to build advertising profiles.

On-Device Photo Analysis

Photo similarity analysis is performed locally on your device. PS Cleanser creates small, locally generated thumbnails and visual fingerprints to compare image content. These fingerprints are used to identify photos that may be visually similar even when they were captured at different times.

Your photos and videos are not uploaded to our servers for similarity analysis. The locally generated analysis data remains in the app’s local storage and is not sent to us.

Data Sharing

PS Cleanser does not upload or share your photos, videos, or personal media with our servers, advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

PS Cleanser uses RevenueCat and Google Play to support subscriptions. Those services may process purchase and subscription information, app or device identifiers, and related transaction or diagnostic information as described in their own privacy policies. PS Cleanser does not receive or store your payment card number.

We found no separate account, advertising analytics, or crash-reporting service in the app.

Data Retention

Scan results, local visual fingerprints, and other app-generated cleanup data remain on your device until they are cleared by the app, removed by your device, or the app is uninstalled. We do not retain your photos or videos on our servers.

Subscription-related information may be retained by RevenueCat and Google Play according to their policies and applicable requirements.

User Choices and Permissions

You choose whether to grant PS Cleanser access to photos and videos. You can deny, revoke, or change these permissions in your Android device settings. If access is denied, scanning and cleanup features that require media access may not work.

PS Cleanser never deletes media automatically. You review the findings, choose what you want removed, select the items to delete, and confirm the cleanup before deletion occurs.

Children’s Privacy

PS Cleanser is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to a service used by PS Cleanser, please contact us so we can review the situation.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information handled by the app. The most sensitive content—your photos, videos, and local similarity analysis—stays on your device and is not uploaded for analysis.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device and operating system protected and install app updates from trusted sources.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PS Cleanser changes or when legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Your continued use of PS Cleanser after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
